Focus: To provide long-term connection and support for junior high and high school by older youth with similar interests

Activities:

Mentors and mentees will be paired based upon mutual interest. This is determined by filling out the mandatory questionairres.

Mentors and mentees will meet up every 1-2 weeks either in individual pairs or in larger groups. Total time commitment is 6 months (May to October).

All mentors are college students or young professionals who have been thoroughly trained and screened

Ultimately, the mentors are to act as a big sibling to the mentee and potential activities include watching a movie, playing a sport, checking in how things are going at school/work, etc.

Location: Program Begins as a group get-together at Ethiopian Community Association: 10585 115 ST NW
